It was during the beginning of the second Iraqi war that I began to participate in the peace movement.  I had my video camera, and covered my first protest in St. Louis during the week of shock and awe in March 2003. Watch the video here.

Those with a voice must speak for the voiceless.

Continuing into the peace movement, I covered the School of the Americas protest at Ft. Benning in Columbus GA. Video from the 2004 event is here.

Peace is found in the heart than brought into the world.

My most recent peace work has been working from the inside out. There is the plea for peace from Dr. Rashad Zaydan, which is the program that made it onto public access. That's here.

Our love will last one day longer than their hate.

Now I am editing a Buddhist's talk about finding peace in the world through making harmony within.  This, he says, is achieved by diminishing self in service to others. Then a chain reaction gets going.
