a day off the Calendar

          but on the Record.

"a day off the Calendar" refers to these lines of Rumi.  It describes the day I was having, as I wrote these notes. I was lifted up into the either, or deeply rooted in my subconscious. I was taken out of time. The presences were there. The music was streaming through me.

"This is not a day for asking questions.

            not a day on any calendar.

This day is conscious of itself.

This day is a lover, bread, and gentleness,

                     more manifest than saying can say."   {Full Context}

"         but on the Record." refers to the writing taking place.  This is the record.  The writing was never dated. The last half of page four, On the Problem of Projection, was written within a week of the original and is dated May 26, 2004.
