Previously we have introduced the structure of a recursive definition, a function defined in terms of itself, and initial conditions.
Recursive remembering is a process of retrieving the context of a bit of information from memory; than taking that context as a new bit of information and seeking its context, repeatedly. Internal validation of the chain of recollection is the story that is evoked from memory. More formal, though still internal, is scientific rigor in examining theories for consistency from a logical position.
The fact below was validated by its cohesion as a story, and its association with my black and white, starkly zero-sum, selfish, thinking regarding the flow of love in relationships.

When I was seven years old, my father had me in his church school classroom. If I was disruptive, I would be sent to a room alone, at the opposite end of the building from the other students. There, I had a mirror to gaze into and second grade math problems to do. So I did those problems aloud, in the mirror, as if teaching myself that eight plus eight was sixteen.
